Take Your Social Wall Beyond Hashtags:Try Our New Feature Today

As you’ve probably gathered by now, Walls.io’s source of pride is that it is extremely good when it comes to hashtags. So if you want to collect public content by hashtag from various social media platforms and have it displayed on a widget or screen, Walls.io is your weapon of choice. It’s awesome for hashtag campaigns and super easy to set up for events.

But what if you’re not interested in hashtags at all?

unbelievable

Yes, we find that thought quite shocking too, but in some cases hashtags might not be the cure-all for all things marketing.

When hashtags don’t cut it…

Maybe you’re looking for an easy way to build your company’s Social Media Newsroom, containing posts only from your own profiles on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc. Or you want to embed a personal Live Social Hub on your blog’s sidebar. Or maybe you would like to create a Curated Social Feed of your favourite sports league’s players.

Now you can easily do all that with Walls.io!

How to add specific social media profiles to your Walls.io

On your Walls.io Dashboard head over to your “Channels” settings. There you’ll notice something different and brand spanking new: Right next to the usual configuration options for hashtags you can now add specific profiles on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Instagram as your Wall’s sources. Just enter your Twitter account (by @username), Google+ Profile (by URL or name), etc. to add them to your Wall.

You can add up to 5 profiles for each platform on the “Pro” plan. “Premium” will allow you up to 25, while “Basic” is limited to 1 profile. For each profile you also have the option to display “only posts with…”, limiting the feed to certain hashtags/keywords:
