People are getting increasingly used to the idea of mobile devices and browsing content in a carousel layout by swiping with their finger. Carousels give sites a touch of interactivity and innovation.

Read on to learn how to create a responsive website carousel and how the carousel layout will solve many of your challenges while helping you create an enticing experience on your website.

What is a responsive website carousel?

A responsive website carousel or slider is a series of content items that rotate so users can look at all the images, videos, and posts in one string. A user responds to a carousel by clicking, swiping, or interacting with it.

Similar to an Instagram or Facebook carousel, a website carousel boosts user engagement as visitors are lured to interact with it. For example, the corresponding post opens whenever a visitor clicks on any image, video, or text. Users can then explore that piece of content further. This behaviour translates to improved SEO scores because visitors spend more time on your site. Hence, why the tool has become so popular.

The website carousel helps you increase user engagement, save screen space, bring focus to the content displayed, and improve your site’s overall aesthetic and conversions.
